Who are we?

More than a brand of products for pets made out of cork, our brand is a lifestyle with a special touch for the confort, elegance and the asset of being natural and original.

Our products are sustainable, handmade, hypoallergenic, waterproof and resistant. Yes! Resistant, after a few years of planning and testing, we discovered a viable way to make cork resistant and safe for dogs. In other words, our products contain polypropylene inside, which is an extremely resistant material and commonly used in the manufacturing of accessories for pets.

We've started with our production in Portugal but recently moved it to Switzerland, since it is where the founder currently lives and what enables her to take over the production herself.

Who's our founder ?

Born in the Alentejo region in Portugal. A region well known for its abundance of cork oaks, the founder's ancestors used this material in various ways, whether in clothing, flooring, containers, etc, due to its great versatility. Knowing how rich the features of cork are and since she has a great passion for animals, she decided to combine both. Cork for pets to which she added the name of her own german shepherd "Zeus" that also came with her from Portugal to Switzerland and started Zeus Pet Handmade.

Now, what does she do exactly in regards to our products?

From a simple idea or just a drawing, to making patterns, cutting and manufacturing our Fashion and Textile designer Dalia Calmelet takes over of the entire process. With an elegant but playful aesthetic,

she will bring you products that your pets cannot resist! Here at Zeus Pet Handmade we are constantly working to enlarge our product range in order to please our costumers needs. Last but not least, we give pet owners yet another form of personalization, laser engraving.
